About AHCSA
Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia Limited (AHCSA) is the peak body representing Aboriginal community-controlled health services in South Australia at state and national levels.
The primary role of AHCSA is to be the ‘health voice’ for all Aboriginal people in South Australia by advocating for the community and supporting workers with appropriate Aboriginal health programs based on a holistic perspective of health.
AHCSA is a membership-based peak body with leadership watchdog, advocacy and sector support role and a commitment to Aboriginal self-determination.

Health Informatics
The Health Informatics Coordinator works with AHCSA Member Services across a number of health data and quality improvement processes. Supports range from improving Communicare health information systems and data literacy to using data analytics to improve access to timely health information. AHCSA also collaborates across teams to optimise quality improvement systems for individual programs.
Patient Information Management Systems
The Patient Information Management Systems Coordinator (PIMS Coordinator) supports Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in South Australia advance and improve their health information management systems, to attain improved health outcomes and better data collection and analysis.
